My Writing

Having been sent to boarding school when I was a kid, I spent my childhood writing letters that ran to dozens of pages.

Not surprisingly with that background, I have spent most of my career as a writer. First magazine features, then news, then more analytical research work.

Throughout I've kept a series of diaries and memoirs, as well as writing essays and articles about my interests. Below is a selection.
